Are you ready? It is time for back to school across New England! Hard to believe that summer is coming to an end. I hope all of you had a safe and fun summer. Absolutely everyone is affected by the start of school, whether or not you have children. Driver's need to remember safety and patience - especially at this time of year. If you are travelling behind a school bus or not, watch carefully for kids that are walking or crossing the roads! Be respectful of other driver's and crossing guards. Leave early if you typically get stuck behind a bus, so that you don't feel rushed to get to work.
If you have children that may be travelling home from school either by foot or on the bus, remind them of a couple common sense safety tips. Always walk with a buddy or friend. Never EVER accept a ride from a stranger. Once home, lock the doors.
If you have older kids that drive, and they will be far away at school, check with your insurance agent to see if any change needs to be made to your auto insurance. Hope you all have a wonderful Labor Day Holiday!
